"PROART 2023, conceptually based on earlier biennial exhibitions of commercial photography, is being profiled as a photography exhibition in which, in addition to the artistic scope of applied photographic practice, the life of photography is important in the synergy of clients, agencies, creative teams, typographers, contractors and end users. The exhibition of pure photography and its applied solution enables a comparative analysis, emphasizes the photographer, the artistic and authorial aspect of commercial and promotional photography with which clients communicate in print and digital media. Thirty members of the Photography Section each exhibit one work created in the previous two years, which, considering the scope of production of each of them, is insufficient to show the most successful examples of applied photography that they have achieved. In addition to presenting new photos, comparing different styles and poetics, a positive feeling of belonging to the photography community is especially important." Draženka Jalšić Ernečić
