It was a long journey - a full 26 years! A path full of ups and downs, obstacles and challenges. Especially the first ten years were difficult, master's studies at Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin, then doctoral studies at Faculty of Graphic Arts and work on a doctorate thesis, with a huge amount of classes and a small child (one after another) at home. I worked from morning to night and on weekends and throughout the year. A lot of business trips, scientific papers, congresses. After the becoming docent, I started slowly towards what I had hoped for - greater independence in designing classes, independently conducting courses on photography, mentoring work with selected graduates. I always preferred teaching work to scientific work. Transferring knowledge, encouraging students to research, experiment and creatively express themselves in the medium of photography is the best part of my job at the university. I do this with the greatest zeal and enthusiasm. It's a nice feeling when you see that you can ignite a creative spark in young people, guide them and help them on their way.
