is a Croatian visual artist and fine art photographer whose practice explores perception, memory, transience and transformation. Working primarily through conceptual and abstract photography, she is interested in the shifting boundaries between the visible and the elusive, representation and abstraction, presence and disappearance. Her recent projects draw on fragments of urban space, natural phenomena and overlooked traces of everyday life, transforming them into images that question how we perceive, remember and assign meaning.
Her photographic practice spans more than three decades, evolving from advertising and reportage photography towards personal fine art projects. Her work has received numerous international awards and recognitions, has been exhibited in Croatia and internationally, and is held in private collections worldwide. Recent and ongoing projects include Traces of Presence, Floating Garden, Escape Landscapes and Other Worlds.
Alongside her artistic practice, she is a Full Professor at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Graphic Arts, where she teaches photography, and she also teaches at RIT Croatia.
