Mindscapes

For me photography is the creation of new (invisible) things. I use camera as a tool to capture the motives I create from scratch. I do not interpret the reality around me – but the one in me. I create it according to my inner voices, emotions and moods. My work process is spontaneous, intuitive and often almost unconscious.

With this series I wanted to make the connection with my past film photography work. I create motives with my old darkroom chemicals that I used for toning and dyeing prints some 20 years ago. Then, they were my tools – and now they become my motives.

It is important to state that no post processing was used for creating these images. I used Photoshop only to transfer photos from the raw format.
