For me, photography is a way of creating new, invisible realities. I use the camera as a tool to capture images that I construct from scratch. Rather than interpreting the reality around me, I turn towards the one within me, shaped by inner voices, emotions and moods. My working process is spontaneous, intuitive and often almost unconscious.
With this series, I wanted to reconnect with my earlier work in analogue photography. I create the subjects using old darkroom chemicals that I once used for toning and dyeing photographic prints more than twenty years ago. What were once my tools have now become the subjects themselves.
No digital manipulation is used to create these images. Photoshop is used only for basic RAW processing.
