This series records fragments of faces found in layers of old, damaged posters on a wall in Vlaška Street, Zagreb. Once intended for public view, the faces have gradually been covered, torn and fragmented by time, weather and human intervention. Eyes, mouths and partial features unexpectedly meet across different layers, creating new, accidental portraits and identities that never existed in the original images.

The photographs explore the shifting boundary between portraiture and abstraction, identity and anonymity, presence and disappearance. By isolating these temporary configurations through framing, I preserve a fleeting stage in their continuous transformation before they change or disappear.
