Maja Strgar Kurečić

Maja Strgar Kurečić is a Croatian fine art photographer based in Zagreb. Her photographic practice spans more than three decades, evolving from advertising and reportage towards personal fine art projects. Working primarily through conceptual and abstract photography, she explores perception, memory, transience and transformation. Alongside her artistic practice, she is a Full Professor at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Graphic Arts, where she teaches photography.
